Borovets is the oldest mountain resort in Bulgaria.

It is located at the foot of the highest peak not only in Bulgaria but in the Balkans - Musala (2925 m). Located in the bosom of the Rila Mountains at 1,350 m. above sea level, the resort attracts tourists because of its unique nature.

Borovets is easily accessible. It is reached by a first class road network from Samokov (12 km), Sofia (72 km) Kostenets railway station (27 km), Dupnitsa (52 km). Year round there is regular bus service, during the winter season buses from Samokov are available every 30 minutes.

The mountain resort offers excellent conditions for relax not only in winter, when amateur and professional skiers are coming here for more than 50 km. of ski slopes with various difficulty, but also in summer.
